The Funding-Ready

Workshop: four deep-dive sessions, more yeses from funders.

No more fuzzy proposals. No more fuzzy budgets. In one playful, highly structured cohort you will turn a strong programme into a fundable package: a clear case, measurable outcomes and a full-cost budget funders can trust. The workshop runs on a recurring basis, with dates set together with each cohort.

The problems we fix

If two or more of these resonate, this workshop is for you

  • We keep getting grant rejections.
  • We can't explain our impact clearly.
  • Our budgets don't cover admin or salaries.
  • The programme keeps changing per donor.
  • We don't have clear metrics or a data plan.
  • Our board is asking for a more compelling case for support.
  • We have passion, but not enough evidence.
Curriculum

The four sessions

Session 1

Session 3

Full-cost, flexible budgets

Key learning: Link budgets to outcomes; allocate true costs including salaries and admin, and build funder confidence.

Deliverables: Flexible budget with highlighted allocations and a budget narrative.

Session 4

Team readiness and relationships

Janine Ayoub

A programme designer and monitoring-and-evaluation practitioner turned working fundraiser, with 15 years in nonprofit management and a track record of winning grants with mission alignment. She has built countless logic models, crafted fundable cases and budgets, advised alongside donor funds and programme assessors, and brings community-centric principles into the work.

  • Streamlined a youth programme: multi-year funding secured after clarifying outcomes and adding impact data — €1M secured.
  • Rebuilt a community engagement budget: salaries and admin accepted through a clear cost rationale — 70% of admin covered through programmes.
  • Converted a passion project into a fundable pilot with donor buy-in and a clear plan — $20,000 in pilot funding.
