Stepping into the Peel Makers Craft Fair last month (September 15th) felt like entering a mini magical world full of lively colors and carefully curated smells. We (Janine and Ali) loved the excitement that was all around us, the kind that comes from a room full of people proudly displaying the fruits of their labor. Each booth was brimming with handmade treasures—delicate jewelry, intricately woven textiles, pottery molded by hand, peculiar candles, and soaps —and every artisan stood behind their table with a palpable sense of pride. This was more than a marketplace; it was a celebration of creativity, a testament to the care, patience, and love poured into every piece. You could see it in the makers’ faces and feel it in the energy of the room—every product was not just something to sell, but a story waiting to be shared.
Today we received our first order from the AFOMA online marketplace. It was carefully packaged, and so heartwarming. The product looks even better than in the pictures! Overall, a great experience. We’re proud to share it with you, and give a shoutout to the amazing artisan, RG Jewellery, who made it.
